Have multiple hurdles you have to go through in order to participate in your distractions. Each hurdle will increase the effort requires to fulfil the impulse, which often is a very week impulse, that a little hurdle to provide a pattern interrupt will conquer and restore us back into our intention of traction for the day. If the hurdle is significant, it will even bring the costs and considerations of the impulsive action to the conscious deliberating psyche, rather than our unconscious impulsive one.
